The Canon PowerShot A570 IS is a solid compact camera, features are impressive, especially for a camera in the novice class. The Canon A570 IS has a high ISO speed and 7.1 MP CCD image sensor with 4x optical zoom. The colors are saturated and appear natural. The integration of the new DIGIC III processor, which enables the improved face detection and advanced noise reduction technologies. Manual exposure controls. The negative side is high ISO noise – but comparing price and features it will be hard to find a compact camera in this range.
They are novice level cameras, their functions and features make them appealing for daily use consumers as well as experienced photographers.

HP intoroduced three new cameras and a compact photo printer. The two of the cameras are M Series entry-level point and shoots with 3x optical zoom and HP’s easy to use interface. The 5 megapixel HP Photosmart M437 and 6 megapixel M537. The M437 features a 2 inch LCD and M537 a 2.5 inch LCD.
The cost would be $109.99 for M437 and $129.99 for M537.
The third camera is R-series camera, the 7.2-megapixel R837 ultracompact digital camera. The camera will cost $229.99.
Apart form these cameras, HP also introduced a new compact photo printer, the HP Photosmart A440 Camera and Printer Dock. It will print 4 by 6 inch borderless prints. The camera contains LCD to view images while others are printing. This photo printer can be bought as a camera-printer bundle with the M437 or M537. The camera-printer bundle will cost $179 with M437 and $199 when bundled with the M547.

Sony introduces its first wireless Cyber-Shot digital camera – DSC-G1. The camera has the ability to send photos wirelessly to other Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)-enabled devices, such as another camera or a PC.
The 6-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-G1 digital camera features: Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom, 3.5-inch LCD screen with resolution of 921,000 pixels, 2GB of internal memory – can store up to 7,500 VGA-quality photos or 600 6-megapixel pictures, an optional Memory Stick Duo media card or Memory Stick PRO Duo card, an auto image management system with sophisticated search functions, built-in technologies to minimize image blur, including Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization.
The DSC-G1 digital camera will ship in April for about $600.

DSC-H9

One of the most popular super zoom digital cameras H-series. Sony is introducing DSC-H9 and DSC-H7 models. Both cameras features 8-megapixel and powerful Carl Zeiss® 15x optical zoom lenses for up-close shots, can shoot up to 1/4000 of a second, powered by the Bionz™ processing engine, incorporate Super Steady Shot® optical image stabilization, high sensitivity up to ISO3200. The H7 camera has a non-articulating but large 2.5-inch LCD screen. The H9 camera has a 3-inch, flip-up LCD screen so that you can shoot comfortably from nearly any position. The H7 and H9 will be available for $400 and $480, respectively.

DSC-T100

The slim and stylish Cyber-shot T-series cameras. Sony is introducing DSC-T100 and DSC-T20 cameras. Both cameras feature 8 megapixel with nine AF points and 28MB of internal memory. DSC-T20 camera features a Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom lens and a 2.5-inch LCD screen on the other hand DSC T-100 features Carl Zeiss® 5x optical zoom lens and 3-inch LCD screen. The T20 and the T100 will be available for $329 and $399, respectively.

DSC W-200

Designed to make photo-viewing crystal clear W-Series cameras. Sony is introducing DSC-W200, DSC-W90 and DSC W-80 cameras. These W-series cameras offer direct connection to an HDTV. The DSC-W200 camera, features 12-megapixel camera, the 8-megapixel DSC-W90 and the 7.2-megapixel DSC-W80 model. All features Carl Zeiss® 3x optical zoom lenses and large, 2.5-inch LCD screens. The W80, W90, and W200 will be available for $250, $300, and $400, respectively.
