No CDMA version of iPhone for U.S. Market?

The AT&T has exclusive U.S. distribution rights for five years, and for that period Apple is not allowed to develop CDMA version of iPhone (Verizon Wireless and Sprint are one of the CDMA network giants). The Apple iPhone is expected to be released next month – June.
