The PENTAX K10D digital SLR camera named “Best D-SLR Expert in Europe 2007” at TIPA European Photo & Imaging Awards. The selection was made because of the K10D’s exceptional image quality and array of advanced features. In its selection of the K10D, TIPA not only praised its high-precision, high-resolution images assured by 10.2 effective megapixels, but also highly rated its array of advanced, sophisticated features, including solid body construction with 72 weather and dust seals; a high-performance CCD image sensor; the PENTAX-original SR (Shake Reduction) mechanism, compatible with all existing PENTAX interchangeable lenses; the newly developed DR (Dust Removal) mechanism assuring spotless images; and a high-precision 11-point autofocus system.
